They host 10 Comic shows on Fridays and Saturday's when they don't have headliner with the top comedians around the U.S. and world performing some of their best 10 minutes of material at a time.
Jay Leno headlines at The Comedy & Magic Club every Sunday. At 7pm 〔(Comedy & Magic Club at the LA Times. )〕 An audience at The Comedy & Magic Club appeared in the 2009 film ''Funny People''.〔(Comedy & Magic Club Audience at IMDB. )〕
Most comedians consider this the most precious clubs in the world. Paul Reiser said on stage that "It's like the old Yankee stadium of comedy." "It's a shrine to comedy." it is the home club of Daniel Tosh star of Tosh.0 who used to live in Hermosa Beach where the club is. He still pops in on random 10 Comic shows that the club is well known for.
Jerry Seinfeld's first headline paid gig in L.A. was at this club. They have a museum of comedy legends hung in Smithsonian like cases around the inside of the club. Artifacts include "The Puffy Shirt" from Seinfeld, Ray Romono's wardrobe from an episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond". Also including stuff from, and worn by, George Carlin, Robin Willams, Eddie Murphy, Lucille Ball, Bob Hope, Charlie Chaplin, Adam Sandler, Roseann Barr, Arsino Hall, Gabriel Iglesias, and Harry Anderson (Night Court)
